Our client was a UK company providing powered access and waste removal services, that needed cover for their fleet of high-risk vehicles. The agent had already been to market, failing to obtain any quotes. The risk was merging with another business where there was a complete change of directors, an amendment to the trading title, a poor credit score with a dormant company connected, and holding insurers were unwilling to invite.

In the current market, over turning declines, along with trying to get an underwriter to show interest with so many negative underwriting factors, made finding a solution for this challenging. Matt and Stuart we able to speak directly to underwriters and explain the aspects of the risk which underwriters were concerned about.
Matt and Stuart turned the risk around within 48 hours, overturning a no quote and were able to place the risk with enhanced cover, providing a premium which the customer was happy with and also a policy wording that addressed the exposures that the customer feared. In addition, they also managed to obtain a quote on interest free instalments.
